Here is a bunch of stuff I have knitted in the past six months? year?
This necklace is from Knit and Crochet with Beads
I really like it and should make one for myself.
I used a toggle clasp in the back, because it seemed like a good idea.
This is the Fireside Stocking from Interweave Knits Holiday 2007(?) I got a kit because I love purple! Now I have to see if I can make one in greens for the guy. I finished this in the summer of 2008. I should be working on the next one to have it done by Christmas 2009, but there are so many other things I want to knit right now.
A bunch of hats. Two for the man and one for me, but I think it would be cute on a friend of mine.
Mangyle from Knitty
I am really proud of this. I didn't like it as I was going along. I had to extend the underarm to shoulder length because it was too small for the head. But once the whole thing was finished and I have it to my brother and he tried it on I really really love it. The modifications were, I extended the underarm to top of shoulder length to make the neck hole bigger. (It was easier that going back farther and doing more neck decreases). And I changed the band for the collar.
I bought a new coat and I made a new scarf to go with. The pattern is called Anne Shirley from Anne of Green Gables, so I call my Emily Byrd Starr from Emily of New Moon another L.M. Montgomery book. It took for ever, it didn't help that I was always being told to make it three times longer. I just kept on going until I ran out of yarn. I guess it is good for me to have a project like this because I always have something to work on.
And to end another knit, bead necklace. I made this pattern up using the top section of the "Harry Winston" pattern and a lace edging I found online.
